Yes, until September 20th, you should use a commercial product like RedHat
Secure Server or Mandrake Secure Server, or TurboLinux Server edition. They run
between $99 and $170. It is not clear if you can recompile mod_ssl once you
bought one of those products.
If you only plan to experiment, you can use open_ssl without the licence from
RSA.
You might find that the prepackaged solutions are worth the money, since you
get install and config support too.
