I've an unusual problem with IE5.00.2919.6307 (and IE5.5 as well) in combination with a new certificate from Verisign. SSL works for every other browser and with the problem browser when older certificates (or certificates from a different CA) are used. In the browser settings checking "Check for server certificate revocation" fixes the problem. This isn't the default browser setting unfortunately however. The differences between the certificates that work and those that fail seem to be: - the verisign certificate is version 3, and - the verisign certificate certification path is 3 long (all the others are 2). I've checked the browser against a site using NES with a similar certificate with no problems. Has anyone seen anything similar and if so, is there a way to fix it? ______________________________________________________________________ Apache Interface to OpenSSL (mod_ssl) www.modssl.org User Support Mailing List [EMAIL PROTECTED] Automated List Manager [EMAIL PROTECTED]
