Why not just replace the old cert with the new, don't edit anything,
and restart apache.  Note:  when adding or changing certs or keys you
need to kill it dead, and start it from scratch.


like  kill apache_root_process_id
      /path/to/apache -DSSL


or apachectl stop
   apachectl startssl
