It means "CN in certificate not server name" - usually clients (ie. web brosers)
will compare Common Name from the server certificate subject with the name of
the server that they're connecting to. The alert from mod_ssl is simply telling
you that something isn't right - perhaps you've type the wrong server name.
You could try it out with a standard www browser to see if it gets the same
error, and you could also try: openssl x509 -in server.crt -noout -text
