saroj,
you can install apache along with mod_ssl . I have recently insatlled it on my site,
and it works just fine. As far as the certificates are concerned, when you install
apache, either you can make your own certificate (which the ppl. accessing your site
should be ready to accept ), or you can also install a certificate got from some
common sites, as in verisign.
