This is AFAIK only true if you're on an os that has decent (or at least usable)
support for a shared memory scheme - I'm guessing that MM_SHMT_MMFILE isn't
going to be faster than sdbm. Unfortunately MM_SHMT_MMFILE has started being
used on some Linux'es see (http://www.engelschall.com/sw/mm/ChangeLog.txt).
