I am sure people on this list have encountered similiar problem
before. I installed Apache1.3.12, openssl0.9.5 and mod_ssl2.6.5.
When I try to start using "apachectl startssl", it failed, and here
is what I found in the "ssl_engine_log":

It looks like openssl is searching for a specific encoding
sequence, which is not found in the certiticate. I made a test "Snake 
Oil certificate" following the instruction of openSSL.

I am clueless! Help greatly appreciated!
