I need to compile apache with mod_ssl with plain API but after configurin' mod_ssl EAPI is enabled even if I use '--disable-rule=EAPI' option. And after runnin' apache I have got an error message like this: "[Fri Jul 28 16:21:53 2000] [warn] Loaded DSO some_module.so uses plain Apache 1.3 API, this module might crash under EAPI!
