Hai all,

Thanks to you answers and remarks on my previous question, I have a
apache/mod-ssl webserver running on with I can authorize (myself) with
a certificate.

I'm able to request such a certificate via a webpage; this is based on
Clifford's OSA package (thanks!).

However, It only works for Netscape!

The scripts in Clifford's package do support MS IE-3.0 (with ActiveX
'certenr3.dll'), which doesn't seem to work with MS IE-5.
I do have found a update on MS' webpage to 4.0/5.0 (with
'xenroll.dll') But it doesn't work. At least not for me.

Does somebody can help me? I would like to be able to use a simular
procedure as with Netscape:
          1) The user fills in a web-form request
          2) The browser (*) calculates a key and an cert-request
          3) The request is stored at the web-server
          4) Somebody signs the request (making it a cert)
          5) And makes it available for the user
          6) The user/browser (*) loads the cert
          7) READY (use it)
*) This is browser depended. It now works for Netscape. It needs to
work for as many browser as possible. But al least for the (usual) MS
ones (so MS IE-4 and 5).

I expect it goes wrong at step 6 (for MS), but maybe the fault is
already introduced at step 2 or 4.
(due to the encryptions, it's hard to debug ...)

TIA Albert

Do NOT send MS-Word or other MS-bits to me!
I can read them now, but I still don't like it.
