Hi all,

      The setup:

      Compaq dual PIII/733, 640Mb RAM
      NT v4 SP 5

      Apache 1.3.12
      mod_ssl 2.6.3-1.3.12
      openSSL 0.9.5a

      The problem:

I'm running load tests on our website prior to launch and I've hit a
problem that I hope the list can assist with.

When running ordinary http, the server seems to saturate at about
100kb/sec transfer rate but it continues to serve quite happily although
the response rate goes way down ;-)

However, under https, when it saturates at about the same level, the
      server starts refusing connections.

Is this the correct behaviour and is there any way to stop these errors ?

      Many thanks,

      Simon Wilcox.
