I have an S50apache in /etc/rc3.d, from the timestamp it looks like it was
installed as part of the O/S. In fact I think I remember installing Apache
as a set of packages - SUNWapchd, SUNWapchr, SUNWapchu - when I installed
Solaris 8. I will need to change the script to start up the SSL version,
though.

Hope that helps,

Phil

Subject: Apache cannot start automatic!

Hi all,

I have installed openssl v.0.9.5a, mod_ssl v.2.6.6, and apache v.1.3.12
successfully and
I can start apache with "apachectl startssl and httpd -DSSL" option but
when I restart the
server, the apache can't start automatic. I try to seek the script for
starting the apache in
my server but I can't found. There are nothing about apache script in
"/etc/init.d and /".
I use Solaris 8 on Sun Server. Any ideas?

thanks in advance,
M. Tagoon
