There are other modules, such as PHP, which uses libexpat - it would be
appropriate to include it in the -devel binary package.
EG: in the install...
# RWM
mkdir -p $RPM_BUILD_ROOT/usr/local/lib
install src/lib/expat-lite/libexpat.a \
$RPM_BUILD_ROOT/usr/local/lib/libexpat.a
and then have that /usr/local/lib/libexpat.a included in the -devel version.
Thanks for the consideration. Was actually surprised not to see this library
installed by Apache eithor...
