What do you mean that it isn't recognized? If you mean that you typed
"openssl ..." and nothing happened, that's because that directory isn't
in your path. Either add it to your path or include the directory name
when you run the command (e.g. "./openssl ..." or
"~/openssl-0.9.6/apps/openssl ...")
