Hi there,

I just want to get it right.
If I use a thawte 128bit Supercert (as they call it) the step-up-stuff
depends on the browser a client is using. For current browsers it's the
procedure of coming up with 40bit and then reconnect with 128bit ... but
what happens to older browsers ? Do they recognise an ssl-connection and use
40bit or will there be an error on the client side with no connection
established ?

By the way, I'm using Apache 1.3.9+mod_ssl2.49+openssl.

regards
Sven
