After re-reading the original post I now see what the poster meant rather
than what he wrote. It would be wonderful if, using mathematical terms,
surjective (eg one to many) mappings would work. Bijective (one to one) and
even injective (eg many to one) mappings do work.
(At this point someone will point out that I've made a mistake. No surprise
there, I only just scraped through the Maths part of my degree).
Personally, I think that we are more likely to see widespread use of IPv6
before any browsers can work round then. In that case shortage of IP won't
be an issue anyone.
