This may be out of the scope of modssl, but its worth a try. We are currently using Apache 1.3.14/mod_ssl 2.7.1 as a reverse proxy to several back end systems, using SSL on both ends. A new back end would like to also use a certificate-based authentication system between proxy and back end to ensure that the request is coming from the proxy (back end will exist outside of the datacenter). We do NOT want to do certificate-based authentication between client and back-end. Has anyone done this before? -- ====================================================================== Brian O'Neill @ home [EMAIL PROTECTED] At work I'm: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ______________________________________________________________________ Apache Interface to OpenSSL (mod_ssl) www.modssl.org User Support Mailing List [EMAIL PROTECTED] Automated List Manager [EMAIL PROTECTED]
