Hi George,
I think you need to supply -lsocket to the linker.
The problem is it is not finding socket , which it should
find when you supply -lsocket. BTW, I dont know whether the
socket library is libsocket.so or it comes with some other
library in SCO, so pls check out what library contains socket
symbol ( nm *.so in /usr/lib might be of some help.) and supply
it to linker.
