I'm new to trying to build my own Apache + mod_ssl.  In my last message, I reported that even with the latest snapshot, ApacheModuleSSL.dll was not being generated, though the source was in the tree.  I compiled it by hand, and then ran the installr part of Apache's makefile.win.  To my surprise, it copied over ApacheModuleSSL.dll.

To shorten this story, here is what I did.  I previously download OpenSA's version of mod_ssl-enabled Apache, and it runs fine on both 80 and 443.  So after building my own, I simply copied the apache\conf directory from the opensa directory, changing the server root to mine.  I started up Apache with -D SSL. The startup message says it started okay with the ssl module running.  I can get to port 80 fine.  When I try to go to https://myserver the browser hangs for about 5 minutes, and then I get "page cannot be displayed".  I set the logging option to debug, but see nothing unusual.  Here is the last line in the log:

[09/Jan/2001 12:46:10 00258] [info]  Connection to child 0 established (server eurovan:443, client 64.47.92.46)
How do I figure out what is causing this to hang?  What additional steps do I need to do to get this running?  All helpful suggestions welcome.
