Hi!
I have tried to get following combination to work:
openssl_0.9.6, mod_ssl 2.7.1 + apache_1.3.14 in HP-UX 11 (+mod_perl and
php later). And since I did not find anyone else mentioning this error of
mine, so could anyone ,please, give some advices...
The problem is that even the non-secure port is up and running
but the secure port is not.
In httpd.conf I have:
Port 8091
and I am trying with
https://server.somewhere:8091/
,which does not work.
Error log says the following:
[Thu Jan 4 13:26:46 2001] [notice] Apache/1.3.14 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.7.1
OpenSSL/0.9.6 configured -- resuming normal operations
[Thu Jan 4 13:29:11 2001] [error] [client blaa.blaa.blaa.] Invalid method
in request +
and the ps says the following:
... /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -DSSL
so it should be ok, I think?
(Also one wierdness is that the default httpd.conf does not contain any
SSL directives, which I have received with some other compilation. )
I have tried to compile it several times (and started from scratch
from time to time), but I cannot get the https
to work. That error with that plus-mark is always there. I am
running out of ideas... %-). Please, if there is a simple fix, tell it
to me...
Also I have never got a httpsd binary, which was in mentioned pages that
would appear after the compilation? Is that a problem?
