dear ladies and gentlemen,

i tried to install mod_ssl-2.7.1-1.3.14 with apache_1.3.14 and
openssl-0.9.6 .

compilations all went well.
the problem starts when i try to create a certificate using 'make
certificate' in the apache source.

later i tried to run 'make test' in openssl to make sure this is not the
problem:

starting big number library test, could take a while...
test BN_add
test BN_sub
test BN_lshift1
test BN_lshift (fixed)
test BN_lshift
test BN_rshift1
test BN_rshift
Right shift test failed!

it broke off with this message.
but still, shouldn't make certificate run?

i have a SGI Indy R4000 running IRIX 6.5.9m and compiled with gcc.

thanks for any help,
