This isn't strictly a mod_ssl problem but I couldn't find an mm-list so
please indulge me...
My set up is;
apache-1.3.17,
mod_ssl-2.8.0,
openssl-0.9.6,
php-4.0.4pl1,
mm-1.1.3
On a Sparc Solaris 2.8 platform.
I have two identical machines: on the internal development machine, I
compiled and installed (using statically-linked modules) all of the
above and it worked fine. I then copied the binary to the external
machine (in the DMZ).
Now when I try to start apache on the external machine, I get:
# ./httpd
Ouch! ap_mm_create(1048576, "/home/apache/logs/httpd.mm.14992") failed
Error: MM: mm:core: failed to acquire shared memory segment (Invalid
argument): OS: No such file or directory
The directory structure and file permissions are identical on both
machines so I don't know what the problem can be.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Best regards,
Owen Boyle.
PS The external machine doesn't have an compilers or libraries for
security reasons so I can't compile there.
