(Mac OS X Server 1.2/Apache 1.3.17/mod-ssl 2.8.0) A user told me that he got an error when he tried to connect to our secure site (not on others, apparently). He said: >The internet pop up alert says " The internet site you are trying to view >uses a security certificate that was signed by an unkown authority." We >found that the issuer is listed as www.verisign.com?CPS Incorp. by >Ref . LIAB SIGN TRUST Network. We have no idea what this means. We are >using Microsoft. I'm trying to find out what version of IE he has. What could this error mean, especially considering I haven't seen this testing on a bunch of different browsers/platforms? Thanks, John ______________________________________________________________________ Apache Interface to OpenSSL (mod_ssl) www.modssl.org User Support Mailing List [EMAIL PROTECTED] Automated List Manager [EMAIL PROTECTED]
