I am following the INSTALL.Win32 file that was included and am also using: - VC++ 6.0 with - mod_ssl-2.8.1-1.3.19 - apache-1.3.19 - openssl-0.9.6 - ActivePerl 5.6.0.623 Everything goes as described until I get to: - configure.bat --with-apache=..\apache_1.3.19 --with-ssl=..\openssl-0.9.6 Here I am using ..\openssl-0.9.6 for both the source and output directory for openssl. Earlier I tried using a different directory for the output, but it gives the same result from configure.bat: >Global symbol "$first2" requires explicit package name at configure.bat line 270. >BEGIN not safe after errors--compilation aborted at configure.bat line 284 I see I am using a new version of PERL than indicated in the INSTALL.Win32 file.
