Are you using mod_ssl as static or dynamic module?

in both your mod_ssl and your apache ./configure
Try it without this line.

Thanks for the advice Tobias,
unfortunately that didn't work either.
Something is seriously broken with mod_ssl , I just don't what,
and how to fix it.
