FakeBasicAuth - CGI variables

hi,

I'm using the following conf:

    SSLVerifyClient require
    SSLVerifyDepth  5
    SSLOptions +FakeBasicAuth +StdEnvVars +ExportCertData
    SSLRequireSSL
    AuthType basic
    AuthName test

but when I try to see the values of CGI variables like:
    #CGI.CERT_SUBJECT#
    #CGI.CLIENT_CERT_ENCODED#

they're blank.

why?
