If you are running Redhat you can upgrade to their latest versions of openssl, apache and modssl.

Go to ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/updates and follow the relevant directory for your version.

Please note that although the updates for openssl show versions 0.9.5a for Redhat 6.2 and 0.9.6 for Redhat 7.1, these both include patches up to 0.9.6b.

Subject: General questions

Hello

If i am running normal apache RPM (1.3.14) on a Linux server & want to tighten it with SSL. Do i have to unistall standard apache rpms & installed SSL enhanced version or is there a mod that can be installed to upgrade to allow SSL connections.
If so what are these extra programs i need to install & how would i configure them into my existing setup.

Regards...

Andrew
