Marco, To be honest, I've taken to cheating when upgrading... I use http://www.apachetoolbox.com/ It manages all the downloads etc and the configuration... and keeps and uses the old configuration of httpd.conf etc...
Yesterday morning, I upgraded from apache-1.3.20 to 1.3.22 no bother at all... and since it wasn't the first time I used apachetoolbox, I just copied /soft-linked over the ./src directory from the previous version cheers, Sean ps. I still did a backup just in case :-) Marco Nardelli wrote: > > Now I'm using this server with every particular configurations I put on > it and I don't want to lose them. > I shouldn't want to reinstall apache, only to "enable-module=so". > Is it possible? > is it possible to make an "upgrade"? > Can anyone help me? > > best regards > marco ______________________________________________________________________ Apache Interface to OpenSSL (mod_ssl) www.modssl.org User Support Mailing List [EMAIL PROTECTED] Automated List Manager [EMAIL PROTECTED]
