Hi Tim --

Just off the cuff, make sure that your reverse DNS resolution is working properly.  We 
had a similar problem for a while, and when the ISP fixed the DNS, things started 
working more-or-less properly.  Also, AOL clients could not connect in HTTPS mode at 
all.
