Fix for Makefile.win (configure.bat) requested: Instead of using cygwin (I found the download process too long), I used the gnu utilities for win32 package from http://www.wzw.tu-muenchen.de/~syring/win32/UnxUtils.html. Using this, I was able to patch and install mod_ssl against a 1.3.22 server with just one problem. At the very end of the make install, the makefile.win runs the awk command. The aforementioned utility package doesn't come with awk, it comes with gawk instead.
