Thanks, that's a great idea. "pardo" is a classic keyword from various real and theoretical parallel programming languages. But it doesn't represent the name of the overall package as nicely as your suggestions; Especially if I add more interfaces (like parmap, for eg.). So I think I'll take one of those suggestions and change the name to Proc::ParallelLoops. -- Byron
