I apologize if any of that sounded like an insult, because these are quite serious points.

...Some place that won't get seen.

I meant that quite seriously. Where do you hope to publish this manifesto of conventions? What do you think will make people read and/or follow it?

...I'm really not sure what you think "convention" is.

I meant this seriously, too. What is a convention to you? Why is App::, for example, not a convention? What more are you looking for? A canonical document of some form?

...Are you going to organize the Conference On Namespace Decisions?

Serious question: how do you decide the contents of said canonical document?

...unless you choose to be confused by them.

I don't see how App:: is confusing, or, for that matter, why it matters. Why is App::Wango vs. App::Client::Wango vs. App::LibsFor::Wango any different or better?

"Shutup. Namespaces don't matter and you're a moron."

I don't think you're a moron. I do think that attempts at 11,618 modules into some kind of hierarchy are misguided.

But I'm willing to have my mind changed. Write up the conventions that you'd like to see published and let's look at 'em.
