Given that at work I have boxes running Perl 5.4.something that I'm not allowed to upgrade, Yes. (And we just installed some brand-new boxes running the latest version of RedHat. Comes with Perl 5.8.10.)

It takes _time_ for boxes to get upgraded.  Sometimes lots of time.

Daniel T. Staal (I do actually use M::B, but I _hate_ the 'well it's been out for _X_ years now, so we shouldn't have to worry about it'. If X is less than 10, you have to worry about it. If it's more than 10, be prepared to worry about it if needed.)
