Yeah, I'd already suspected that that would be the case, it's currently coded in
CPANPLUS::Dist::Build as an either or scenario. It of course picks up the 
version of
Module::Build that is currently available (0.35), but when it runs the 
Build.PL/Build etc
that'll be using the bundled version.

*sigh*

I'll fiddle in a bit and make a new release.
