Thank you for your response Leon. I did notice the two --install_base parameters from the CPAN log. The module build script had worked before so I wasn't sure what was causing the error. As mentioned I had tried specifying the previous version that had worked before, a manual install always worked. Anyway, thanks again. ../mark
