No. The mail client side isn't up to you unless you firewall or disable
access via that particular protocol. Your modusmail isn't using any
particular protocol, it allows access via one of those 2 protocols. If you
have IMAP and POP access enabled, a user can check their mail with either
one. The webmail is just a seperate client, and it can be set to access your
server by either IMAP or POP3. Whichever setting you choose, it doesn't
affect the end users ability to check their mailbox with whichever one they
prefer. The only caveat is if your webmail uses POP3, and your users make
folders, those folders are a webclient based feature, and not accessible
outside of the webmail client. If your webmail is set for IMAP, then folders
are created as IMAP folders, which are stored on the server, not the webmail
client. I hope this sorta makes sense.
