We are running 3 now because we were on the beta team. I can tell you this. Personally I see an average of about 100 spams a day in my mailbox and with Modus 2.x about 5 to 7 of those would get through. In the last few months the sheer volume of spam has increased, the percentage getting through has not but 5 percent of 100 is 5 and 5 percent of 200 is 10 so the amount getting through has increased because of the volume not that Modus is letting more through. With Modus 3 I am getting maybe 1 spam every few days not getting into my mailbox. The spam catching power of Modus 3 is awesome and our users have noticed it right away. We only run a couple of custom sieves at this point because they just aren't needed anymore. We do run linux boxes in front of our Modus server and they are running interference for Modus using 4 RBL's. Between those rbl's and Modus 3 the amount of spam getting through to our users is incredibly low. You're gonna love this, we already have people coming over from other services locally that come because they've heard from their friends who use us that they aren't getting spam anymore or so little that its no longer an issue.
