Ditto.

Sieve scripts can still be useful to get spam that is specific to your network or as an immediate fix to some spam.

If you continue to use sieve filters then you are only creating work for yourself.  I have not had to worry about adding anything to sieve filters since they got the SCA engine up and running.

The reason the sieve filters are in your top ten is that custom sieve filters are checked BEFORE the vircom SCA engine and in the old 2.x version they were checked before the Vircom sieve filters..

Believe me and the rest of the beta testers.. you won't need sieve filters :)

Hello Ken,

While the sieve filters have not changed from 2.x they are almost a
thing of the past.. I am only using 2 filters, one to bypass some
specific addresses and another one to do input some variables for new
viruses that may not yet be in the anti-virus engine.

The big "spam kicker" is the new SCA engine.. You can read about it
here:
http://www.vircom.com/Modus3/

I have no server wide whitelist/blacklist.  I don't believe you will
need them except for maybe a pesty person who likes to harass...

Challenge/response is not used.

You can still select the levels of scanning for viruses, spam and
attachments.

You will be PLEASED!!

Ronnie
