OK, let me explain:
Vircom have stated that to display the PaperClip the email has to be
downloaded. However, from my tests I have found that the email is
downloaded and cached by the WebMail Service when the mailbox is opened.
The code I have added does not actually look at the body off the
message. It instead parses the Headers, in particular the MIME headers
and reads the filenames from there. If no filename exists but there is
reference to a particular RFC (822 I think), then it uses the filename
'message.txt'. The code is actually replicated from original Vircom code
within the ReadMessage.asp file and it's included files.
Until Vircom change their stance on when they feel the message is
downloaded this will not be included in the official Modus Release.
I have added the other elements to make the Add-On a bit more worthy off
it's title, and am willing to look at adding extra functionality as
requested. I now have a very intimate knowledge off the Web Mail ASP
code, and a full understanding off how the Web Admin works therefore any
additional requirements should be easy to implement.

If that is the case then maybe vircom should add the functionality in
their
own version. Matters not to me. My customers insist on seeing the
paper
clip.
