* This is the modus mailing list * Hi Gene,
We can't just take code from somebody, even from someone as competent as Suneel, and include it without doing our own Quality Assurance process on it. We have to do this for internal code after all. For Modus3 we concentrated on the anti-spam engine and other new features. We're set to revisit Webmail soon, at which point we will decide what we want to add in our software, and for those things Suneel already did either take his code, or at least take inspiration from it. As Suneel has said himself in the past, coding is not just writing the code. It's making sure it works on every supported platform, making sure it's manageable for Vircom, and testing it. But, that being said, we'd be wasting a valuable ressource if we did not at least consider Suneel's changes. We have been doing Suneels changes for as long as I can remember. Thanks for the answer ahead of time Michael. --------------------------------------------------- Gene DuCharme SysAdmin Inland Northwest Internet (inwi.net) 509-935-8923 USA Online Central (usaoc.com) 877-GO-USAOC 401 S.
