We are one of those. We had three relay servers running SA with a custom filter in Modus 2 to quarantine based on score.  We still have the three relays running but all they do now is to check the four RBL's that we use.  We have disabled our SA filter on Modus 3.  With Modus 3 we have fewer false positives and more spam stopped than when we were using Modus 2 with SA and the RBL's.  We tried putting SA back into the mix to see what happened and it wasn't pretty, SA was adding its own   text and making the original message an attachment and Modus was letting it through (Modus was correct, it was NOT spam) and customers were calling because it was confusing to them.  We removed SA again from the mix, effect was, more real spam caught, less false positives, no customers calling.

If you have custom filters to look for the SA score you would just have to do a find in your QT for matches on that filter name.  The tab that you had before is gone.  I am unsure why you continue to care about SA any way.  There have been MANY posts on the list by previous SA users that have disabled it entirely.  There are still some out there using it.  I am not sure to what extent but I do know that many, us included, have taken SA out of the mix all together.  We have taken our SA servers down all together and we are running two RBLs.  Try it; disable those scripts and you will see that you really don’t need SA.  M3’s SCA does a fantastic job.  If you have any doubt, just read the list and you will see that most are reporting GREAT catch rates.

Ok, we upgraded, but how do i find what the Spam Assasin front end is doing.

somehow, i thought there would be someplace to look and see what was happening. I can't even see the 'catagories' for the vircom scripts now.

Is there a place to see what the SA is doing?
