* This is the modus mailing list *

I would love to see per domain Quarantine report settings. You can already
override report frequency per domain and per user, It would be nice to be
able to do branded reports, or at least customize the from field per domain.
None of our resellers have had a problem with it yet, but I can see it
happening and costing us a potential client.

I will compile a How-To in the next couple of days for running two or
more Modus Mail v3 servers. With some tips on how to optimize the set-up
to handle Mailbox expiration and Quarantine handling.

The basics:

You should run an SQL Quarantine, and point both servers at the same
database. The actual data should be stored in a file share and the
servers should use UNC paths (you could configure one sever to use local
disk and the other server to use UNC path to the to that server). Now
only one off the servers has to run Web Mail, and the quarantine reports
should have that set, you should decide which server has a lower load
and use that to generate the Reports, the other server should have
report generation off.

Regards,

Suneel.

Subject: [Modus] Trouble with Quarantine reports

I am working on setting up Quarantine reports on our secondary server
and I have it set so that they go out and all, but I am having problems
with the one click release and one click delete. When you go to release
an email, it is coming back with 'There was a problem, please contact
the system administrator.'. Same thing happens when you "click here" to
add the address to the whitelist. When you go to delete the message the
same thing happens but this time it adds 'Error code: 800503EE' at the
end. Any clues what I may be missing here?

Thanks,

Steve
