* This is the modus mailing list * If (or more like WHEN) new viruses come out, there won't be a pattern available immediatly, and if you block script extensions, you often will block the virus. So, it is an interem catchall for unknown viruses. We do block exe's at Strong and Extreem, but not Normal, (that is the only differnce on ours between Strong and Normal). We just started giving people the option to change their level and it seems to have appeased the whiners. By blocking attachments, it has saved a bunch of viruses coming through that could have taken down our circuits or mail servers by getting hammered.
