* This is the modus mailing list * We should all note the original request to extend for 30 - 60 days and hence provide additional time to perform upgrades.
In major production environments upgrades have to be well planned and a 30 day window by a manufacturer does not provide the level of confidence I would expect. I personally feel that Vircom should comply with this request by extending the period for a minimum of 30 days. I have never, I repeat,"Never" had an issue with upgrading modus. The only issue I can see is the change from NT 4.0 to Win 2000 advanced Server to take advantage of the web based mail. I to am a small ISP and cannot afford to continually add hardware. I was given time to do the hardware and software upgrade and everything went smoothly. --------------------------------------------------- Gene DuCharme SysAdmin Inland Northwest Internet (inwi.net) 509-935-8923 USA Online Central (usaoc.com) 877-GO-USAOC 401 S.
