Another solution I brought up the other day, if you're using SSL for
your webmail server, is to secure the webadmin site as well. By default
IE seems to accept cookies fine from a secondary site if the access is
secured with a trusted SSL certificate.

IE default privacy setting is to deny website X from reading a cookie
set by website Y. You now have two options. Either you change every
customers browser settings, or you install Webadmin to the Webmail
Server in a subdirectory of the Webmail Website.

although i can log in from my computer as a specific customer and click
on the 'Settings' tab and add forwarding or whatever, my customer
cannot.

when he logs in and clicks on 'settings' he gets a page asking him to
login again with the choice of logging in without administrator
priveleges.

i have had him go to internet options in IE and remove cookies, temp
files and adjust the settings to check for new page each time.

so, i figure it is a setting on my end. has anyone experienced this? the
curious thing is that from my computer i can log in as him and all works
well??? vince
