* This is the modus mailing list * To put an end to this long thread I started, I want to report we have successfully installed the sbl.spamhaus.org zone as a secondary on our name servers per the instructions posted previously. It did take a while for the zone to populate, but our connect times to the smtp port have dropped from 7 seconds to 1 second.
I still have a ton of reject notices in the error logs increasing the size by about 500 percent as compared to before the rbl's, but that is a small price to pay to allow my quarantine to shrink down in size. The only downside is the customer doesn't see the entire amount of spam we are filtering for them.
