we use the default access db and it fills up every day or
two...(yes, we're moving
to SQL)...we don't compact or anything, just stop modus adm
service and
rename the quarantine.mdb file and quarantine inbox folder,
then restart modus adm.
modus scan sounds like it is just very busy trying to catch
up with the backlog...
if you start with an empty quarantine, you should see
entries from 11/09/03 almost
immediately upon restart of the modus adm service.

We upgraded to version three about 9 days ago. It
works awesome!
Everything has been going well.. until now..
However today, I am not getting Spam but our quarantine
which is usually around 25,000 messages is down to about 12,000 messages and
there are no messages in quarantine since the 9th (11-9-03).
I stopped all services, backed up quarantine.mdb and
compacted it. file is about 33Megs.
restarted everything and it still hosed up.
I tried to purge spam (as I have done before) and purge is
painfully slow,
Any ideas what I should do next??
Thank you!!!
