I checked a little further for you to find out exactly what you need to change.

You should look in the Web.Config file for the following section:

<sessionState

         mode="StateServer"

         cookieless="true"

         timeout="20"

         stateConnectionString="tcpip=127.0.0.1:42424"

         stateNetworkTimeout=10

     </sessionState>

Change the cookieless value to false and the munged data in the URL should disappear.

Hi Nunenthal,

This is not actually abnormal behaviour. What you need to do is check the Web.Config file, and possibly the Machine.Config as the URL is being altered to handle Session State. Basically the part off the URL you think is abnormal identifies each session on the server.
