when that error happened for us.. it was related to the wrong license key
within the software -- double-check you have the most recent license key
inserted.

Subject: [Modus] Virus Definition update error. Was: MiMail.I what
out...

* This is the modus mailing list *

Just wanted to report that I too receive the following error when
trying to update the Virus Definition in ModusGate3:

The virus definitions update has been completed.
Result: Error updating '!s!' (0x!08X!)

(this happens both with automatic updates and forced ones)

Thanks,

Lapo
