It is updating.

Look in your AV folder at the exe file that is the virus engine.

See if it has a recent time/date.  (Like today/"near now".)

If so you are getting the updates, it is the console/display that is Furgulated.

Any new word on this issue?  Both of our servers have this issue as well...  In fact, when I click on Update Now it freezes the program (console at least) for about 1 1/2 minutes before the Result: Error updating '!s!' (0x!08X!) appears.

The update process is working.

We may have an issue updating the information in the console...this
could be the reason you get this error.

Thanks.

Just wanted to report that I too receive the following error when
trying to update the Virus Definition in ModusGate3:

The virus definitions update has been completed.
Result: Error updating '!s!' (0x!08X!)

(this happens both with automatic updates and forced ones)

Thanks,

Lapo
