For anybody still running 273 or any other build that gives you the '!s!' error...  Look in your /modusmail/nvc/nse directory and make sure that the nvcincr.def file has a date of at least 1/19/2004 at 12:45am.  If it isn't, stop your MODUSCAN and MODUSADM services and run the avupdate.exe file that is in the directory.  Once you have run it then restart those services.  I discovered Friday that while the server IS downloading the AVUPDATE.EXE file it is NOT running it, and everytime it checks it it downloads it again.   Steve -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Robert Button Sent: Friday, November 14, 2003 4:58 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Modus] Virus Definition update error. Any new word on this issue?  Both of our servers have this issue as well...  In fact, when I click on Update Now it freezes the program (console at least) for about 1 1/2 minutes before the Result: Error updating '!s!' (0x!08X!) appears.   Steve
